I’m so happy that something I created for myself has been so well received. Each person's reasons for creating something and the ways they express themselves differ, but it was a stimulating experience to be in a position to create something and share my creative drive and curiosity with others.

It was exciting to interact with so many interesting people. The fact that the works were screened and that some works had visuals that extended beyond the projection screen enabled me to compare my work with other entries, and that too was really great. Thank you very much!

My gratitude to everyone in the community for inspiring me and to those who appreciate our efforts.

Being able to hear the frank opinions of both the judges and the award winners regarding my work was invaluable and an extremely meaningful opportunity. I’m looking forward to creating more videos. Thank you!

Having my work critiqued was both exciting and sobering. Being able to meet and interact with other creators my own age elicited many emotions, including a bit of both envy and anxiety, but also respect and aspiration. It was such an incredible feeling to have so many people view my work.

This awards presentation was my first experience to participate in such an event as a video creator, and in viewing the winning entries and talking with the other award winners I was really surprised at the differences arising from different cultures and backgrounds, not only with participants from other countries but even those from other Japanese prefectures. It was a great opportunity and I’m so glad that I was able to participate.

I’m so grateful for this wonderful opportunity. Viewing the winning entries and listening to the other award winners was such a rewarding experience. I really feel motivated to do my best to create even more interesting work in the future. I want to express my gratitude to the ISCA and everyone involved. Thank you.

Up until now I’ve been creating my work in Hokkaido and Tokyo, and this was my first experience to have my work shown in western Japan. It was an invaluable opportunity that I want to use as motivation for my future work.

I was so happy to have so many people view my work and to hear their comments. While I know I still lack experience, having my work selected has given me the motivation to even more powerful animation.

This is my last year in school and next year I’ll be out in the working world, so I’m really happy to have had one last chance to enter my work in a contest like this. This ISCA contest was really well thought out, and I was delighted to be approached by two companies scouting for new talent. This was an invaluable opportunity for me as an exchange student.

I am very happy and honored to be awarded with INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS CREATIVE AWARD. It is an impressive experience and a great opportunity for me to meet other students and professionals in Osaka. Frankly speaking, I did not expect to win the Grand Prize, thanks for all the ISCA Organizer, Jury member, and those who encourage me to create films. I would like to thanks my partner Mandark too, who created this film with me. The music made by her is an indispensable part of this film. Mandark and I will continue working hard to create films.

I’m so happy and honored to got 1st Prize at the 2016 edition of ISCA. I really enjoyed the award ceremony and after it was a great experience to meet other filmmakers from Japan and all over the world. It was a great feeling listening to the Jury’s words about my film, I really felt my original idea came over, so it gives me even more enthusiasm to work on my next project. Thank you ISCA!

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS CREATIVE AWARD is a wonderful two day event filled with great films from both international and Japanese students. I feel very happy and honored for having my film "The Bus Trip" screened and awarded with the 2nd prize. ISCA2016 gave me not only new strength and recognition for my work but also a lot of new inspiration that I would not find anywhere else. It was truly a pleasure to meet and connect with film students and professionals in Osaka. Thank you for the award and for organizing an event that showcases a lot of new cutting edge films and new media projects.

It is an honor for my team and I to receive the 2nd Prize. In the name of the entire team, I would like to thank the jury and all the members of ISCA 2016 in Osaka.This festival is a great opportunity to meet people coming from different horizons. This will have, for sure, an impact on our future project & creativity. Signism is a music game using sign language, and I created it with the hope of providing an opportunity for interaction between persons with normal hearing and the hearing-impaired. I want to continue to produce works that “resonate.”
