The International Students Creative Award 2013 awards ceremony was held at the Knowledge Theater on Nov. 30, 2013 (Sat.). The Japan division had a Mobile App category and a Video Content category, while the International division had only a Video Content category. There were 21 award nominees in total, who each gave a stimulating presentation. The judges from Japan and other countries provided open reviews, and the winning entries for 2013 were selected. Judges Toshiyuki Inoko, president of the "ultra-technologist" Team Lab Inc., and Naohiro Ukawa, president of the live streaming company Dommune and professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design, hosted a talk session entitled, "Let's change the world with creativity!" Scouting also took place by approximately 20 companies, including Osaka-based TV stations, major advertising agencies, and well-known production companies. The event was filled with stimulating content that kept the audience well entertained.

Audience voting was instituted by asking the audience to hold up fans they were provided to indicate which entries they liked, with the hope of influencing the judges and seeing a new star born. The International Students Creative Award 2013 event was filled with enthusiasm and was a great success.
