A researcher discovered language ability in a type of wild bird called the titmouse. This discovery led him to start a new study called "Animal Linguistics" with the aim of understanding the meaning and evolution of animal language. His groundbreaking research has been recognized with numerous awards, including The Miyadi Award of the Ecological Society of Japan (ESJ Miyadi Award), the Award of the Japan Ethological Society, and the MEXT Young Scientists' Prize. He has authored several books, including "What Do Animals Talk About?" and others.
