    Point Jamesy and Malachy are over the moon when their soft-hearted Dad presents them with two baby chicks to care for, but the two boys are in for a shock when their parents announce that big changes are coming to the family.

      Michael is a director and cinematographer from Northern Ireland. In 2010 he earned a much-coveted place on the MA in Fiction Directing course at the National Film and Television School (he was Northern Ireland Screen Scholar 2010 and Shine Scholar 2011). BOOGALOO & GRAHAM screened at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, and in February won the BAFTA and secured an Oscar nomination for Best Live Action Short.

Parvaneh

    Point Parvaneh, a young Afghan immigrant, lives in a transit center for asylum in the Swiss mountains. Upon hearing of her father's illness, she travels for the first time to Zurich in order to send her family money. This is the starting point of various encounters.

      Talkhon Hamzavi is an Iranian-Swiss film director and screenwriter. From 1998 to 2003 she served an apprenticeship as a medical secretary. In 2010 she graduated witih a BA in Film from the Zurich University of the Arts and in 2012 she receieved an MA in Film from the same institution. Parvaneh is her first Academy Award nomination.

She turns a corner. Something happens.

      Elizabeth Marre was born in Paris, France, from a Puerto Rican Mom and a French Dad. Though raised in France, she has always felt a great influence from both cultures. She completed a Master's Law Degree at University Paris II.Born in Paris, France, Olivier Pont grew up in the French Riviera. He graduated from the CFT Gobelins, the French National Animation School. He worked as an animator for three years at the Steven Spielberg's. Elizabeth Marre and Olivier Pont have written and directed together two short films, have been selected and rewarded in various French and international festivals.

The Bigger Picture

      Daisy Jacobs is a British animation director, based in London. She studied at the National Film and Television School and at Central St Martins School of Art. The Bigger Picture is her MA graduation film and went on to win the BAFTA for Best British Short and be nominated for an Academy Award.
