Cannes Film Festival draws much attention both domestically and abroad. Even within the film industry, the market established alongside the festival is considered a key place for the creation of new business opportunities. We will introduce a lineup of gems from this festival, including the 2014 Palme d'or (short film) winner.

      Born in Yaroslavl in 1976, graduated from the Yaroslavl State Theatre Institute. Since 2000, he has been working for Yaroslavl Youth Theatre and has staged a huge number of plays, both for children and adults. Sergey is well known for directing TV series and sitcoms, and SONUNCU (The Last One) marks his feature film debut.

      Ziya Demirel was born in 1988, in Adana, Turkey. He started theatre at high school and continued at university. While studying industrial engineering in Galatasaray University he directed his first short film "The Title of The Film". After his graduation, he continued his studies for film directing & scriptwriting at the Prague Film School. There he shot his well-received short film "Evicko".

She next directed "O Negative" then "Foreign Bodies". She is currently writing her first feature-length film: "The Birth of Trees".

      Born in Medellin, Colombia in 1986. Studied Audiovisual Communication at Universidad de Antioquia, where he also worked as lecturer in film editing before moving to the UK. In 2014 finishes his studies in Filmmaking at The London Film School.
