Future Film Day

Originally starting in Taiwan as the "One Day On Earth Project" in 2011, the "Future Film Day/Future Film Festival" was held in similar fashion in 2012. Thanks to the generous support received to date, this new festival represents the eighth hosting of the event. As a point of difference from the general film festival held in Taiwan, the "Future Film Festival" has active associations with large art and literature organizations overseas. With the aim of developing film culture in each area of Taiwan, we can use the flexibility of small-scale film festivals to host events even in experimental locations while touring multiple cities. The Taiwan Future Film Exhibition Association was established in order to support young Taiwanese directors from 2014, and with its current goal of becoming the world's largest film organization, it has already achieved collaborations with 42 film festivals over the past year and a half.

Since then, he kept a strange plant which can live without pouring water. It is a summer journey about Mei and A-Chi. Two tennagers expect to find themselves truly in a beautiful countryside. Even in the darkest night , they long for the light. There is always a fantastic summer night belongs to them.

    After having been married for many years, the wife, Phoebe, is finally pregnant. Since Phoebe has a rare blood type and the possibilities of death while laboring are quite high, the doctors recommend abortion. However, Phoebe decides to ignore the doctors' advice and continues on with the pregnancy.Eight months into her pregnancy, tragedy strikes. During one of the couple's routine walk, they encounters a person who tries to commit suicide. The person jumps off a building and accidentally lands on top of Phoebe, killing both her and the baby.

    After this ordeal, the hospital persuades the husband, Ethan, to donate Phoebe's organ since a patient with the same rare blood type is in need of a heart transplant. Despite Ethan’s reluctance to sign the consent form, he went through with it knowing this has always been Phoebe's wish. According to the law, the families of the donor cannot seek the whereabouts of the donated organs, however, Ethan who misses his wife terribly, decides to look for the person who receives Phoebe's organ. He knows he had to do it even if it means breaking the law⋯

      Mark Ang is a Taiwanese director who was majored in English and Japanese in YZU. He started his film career when he was a university student and got golden metal in a commercial contest right in the year he graduated. After the contest, he decided to step into the filmmaking industry and worked with clients from Taiwan and China. His works are praise by commercial contests in NHK, PTS and PChome, etc. Mark is also part of the crew of feature films such as "Step back for glory", "LOVE", "Lonely Together" and "Moon Child". Mark's first feature film "Replace" is being prepared and the short version of "Replace" is just released in film festivals around the world.
