It is not only a beautiful display of flowers and floral compositions arranged by the most famous greenhouses on the Riviera dei fiori (“Flower Riviera” here in Liguria) but it is also a recreational-educational center for the new generations which dedicates special attention to children and young people, offering a rich program of initiatives designed to cultivate their love for nature and promote environmental awareness.
Euroflora is an explosion of initiatives and interactive workshops that spark curiosity and shows that enchant the eye, coming to life thanks to the synergy with institutions, associations and exhibitors.
For the entire duration of 2025 Euroflora the fair offered an educational, playful and sensorial path which has been a fascinating journey into the life cycle of forest nurseries. Like alchemists of nature, the young explorers were able to follow the secret path of seeds, from their wild cradle to their rebirth in the State Nature Reserves. They admired the rare gems kept in the sanctuaries of biodiversity, they understood how forest nurseries are the green soul of conservation strategies and the secrets to protecting the most precious habitats. A tactile sensory path invited attendees to recognize the textures of plant and animal life, while a multimedia station paints soundscapes, whispers and crashes of an uncontaminated natural environment. And to ignite the challenge and the smile, an ecological game rewarded environmental wisdom and a magnetic tree tested the knowledge on herbs, revealing the secrets of nature's pharmacy.
Forest guards, true professional sentinels of biodiversity, guided young visitors in a close-up observation of woods and rare plants victims of illicit trade, instilling in young people the urgent awareness of the protection of an invaluable natural heritage of thousands of species fighting for survival.

‘The secrets of the hive’ workshop presented the Italian bee, the undisputed queen of biodiversity and, thanks to the mastery of the experts of the federal beekeeper association, the public and school children could get closer to the tireless work of the most widespread bee in the world with an educational beehive at the center of this immersion and learn the industrious microcosm of bees.
The ‘Flowers, colors: art and nature’ workshop was a magical combination of the ephemeral beauty of petals and the vibrant creativity of children, a space which became the theatre of these artistic explorations with loads of free activities.
Environmental education was the lifeblood of a wide range of manual workshops, themed games and engaging shows that enlivened this edition of Euroflora. It has been a precious opportunity for students to translate theory into practice, to interact with the professional world and to actively contribute to the realization of this event.

There was a real “therapeutic” forest where you could experience the beneficial effects of “forest bathing”, a mini classroom to understand how to protect children from the effects of indoor pollution, an exhibition to recognize the plants that fight smog and a meeting to discover how greenery can improve our health and quality of life.
For the first time in Italy, the spotlight will be turned on studies, experiences and concrete solutions that concern a still little-known aspect of indoor and outdoor plants and flowers: the ability to reduce pollutants present in buildings and outdoors and improve people's psycho-physical well-being.
Plants and flowers help create cleaner and healthier air to breathe, thus improving our well-being and comfort and making the environment around us more pleasant and peaceful. In fact, indoor plants have also been associated with stress reduction, increased pain tolerance and improved productivity in people.
