Thank you very much for the 1st Prize awarded by ISCA this time. "Yodaka" is a work that explores the relationship between me, myself, others, and the world. I am glad that I was able to connect with so many people through "Yodaka," and I will cherish the encounters I made at ISCA. I would also be happy if you could read "Yodaka no Hoshi" written by Kenji Miyazawa, although those of you in Japan may have already read it.

Thank you for the Matsumoto Toshio Prize. I am elated as I have gained valuable insights from the culture during Matsumoto Toshio's active period, and have held deep admiration for it. I aspire to continue learning from the past while creating something that looks towards the future.

The inspiration for this work stemmed from asking my mother about the most nerve-wracking moment in her life. As someone who easily gets nervous and struggles to articulate thoughts, it brings me great joy that viewers have sensed something beyond words in my work. I am sincerely honored that my piece, initially viewed by many people as a nominee, received further acknowledgment in the form of an award.

I would like to express my gratitude for selecting my work for the 3rd Prize. In my piece '520,' I attempted a unique mode of expression. The feedback and comments from the many people who have viewed my work have instilled confidence in me, affirming my decision to value my own way of expression.

"Mashita Masayasu Channel" is a live-action video work that explores the theme of an excessive desire for approval on social media and humorously portrays its abnormality. I depicted the sense of discomfort that I personally experience while using social media on a daily basis. This was the first time I shared my video with people outside of the university, and I am delighted to have this opportunity. I hope this video will bring you a small chuckle. "Arigatougozai-MASHITA! I am delighted that my work has been selected for the 3rd Prize from among so many others. I started this work with the idea of depicting what a girl named Nycteris saw and felt through her eyes when she ventured out of her small cave-like world for the very first time in her life.
Initially, we began as a small team, but ultimately, with the assistance of a great number of people, we successfully brought this scene to life.

We are so glad that our project touched the ISCA festival and the jury members. "When you look at this world through a work of art, you see it in a different way."That, I believe, is what makes the artwork intriguing. The world is complex, beautiful, and fascinating enough to make me feel that I need nothing else.
This time, I expressed the dynamism and cycle of life from the perspective of marine organisms.
From such a perspective far removed from people, what are people? What is life? It would be valuable to reconsider the answers for these questions.

Although I created this work without a strong will, through the screening and exhibition, I felt that it was appreciated not only from the surface but also from the viewpoint of the essence of the work. I hope that my shaved head, which continues to drift on the Internet even after the exhibition, will continue to expand the framework of this work.
