Isan Creative Festival 2022, the largest creative festival in Isan—the Northeastern region of Thailand, was organized for the second year by CEA between 25 February and 6 March 2022, with Khon Kaen as the main venue. The festival happened under the theme ”Think Link Things” to present the potential and works that represent techniques of adding value to Isan’s traditional wisdom and cultural assets. With the integration of creators, entrepreneurs, educational institutions, government, and private sectors in the Northeast, all of the potentials and works were created by analyzing, thinking processes, and linking with the world's most advanced technology and innovations in order to generate new chances and possibilities without adhering to old ideas.

Over 100 online and offline activities had made up the festival and were presented under three identities which are Isan Entertainment, Isan Regional Network, and Bio-Circular-Green Economy, to be in line with multiple world's sustainable development goals. The festival was not only held in the TCDC Khon Kaen and Srichan - Kungsadan creative areas but it was also expanded to Velaverse—the first-ever Metaverse built in Nakhon Ratchasima province, with the cooperation of Class Cafe’ to collaboratively drive the creative economy of this distinct and prosperous region.
