Future Film Day in Taiwan
(Only Osaka)

Starting in Taiwan in 2011 as the One Day On Earth Project, Future Film Day was planned as a part of that project in 2012. This year marks the 5th anniversary. Unlike ordinary film festivals in Taiwan, Future Film Day is held in active partnership with major overseas arts and literature organizations.
The program this year will feature refreshing short dramatic films from Taiwan by spirited young Taiwanese directors (5 films: Otter Space, Ms. Vanilla, Yoki, Rest in Peace, and Red Dress)!

Otter Space

In a school sealed with canvas, people all wear otter masks and lead a regular, peaceful life. Otter 427 is in charge of night patrol.One day, a transfer student without a mask arrives, making the Otters panic. At night, while Otter 427 is on duty, the transfer student pulls off its mask. Afterwards, it leads to a series of chaos.

Biology sophomore, A-Jun, ventured deep into his brother, Ming Yi's suspicious suicidal mystery. His girlfriend, Mei Mei, accompanied him to look for clues at Xuan Qi Club, where Ming Yi had once taken part in. They inadvertently found that Ming Yi's death had something to do with the myth of the Little Girl in Red, and also involved with a body test. After that, the members of Xuan Qi Club were also fell victim.
Helplessly, A-Jun and Mei Mei decided to risk their life to unveil the truth...
