As the leader of the Organic Material Circulation Project at the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, I am engaged at research activities in Republic of Niger and Ghana in West Africa, Uganda and Djibouti in East Africa, Zambia in Southern Africa, and Japan (Kyoto). With the slogan “Cleaning the Cities, Greening the Land”, this project aims to solve environmental problems by restoring the environment by returning urban waste to degraded land.
At Kyoto University, I am also working for academic research and teaching courses in Environment in Africa, Ecological Anthropology, Physical Geography, Hausa language and so on.
