Rachel Goslins
Rachel Goslins is the Director of the Arts & Industries Building at the Smithsonian Institution. She brings over 20 years of diverse experience in the creative industries, social impact, program management, law and international and domestic public policy to the position, and is specifically focused on helping to develop programs and exhibits focused on creativity and innovation for the building, which has lain dormant on the National Mall for more than a decade. Prior to her appointment, Rachel served as Executive Director of the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, an advisory committee to the President Obama on cultural policy, from 2009 until late 2015. Rachel received her B.A. in English Literature and her J.D. from UCLA's School of Law. She serves on the Advisory Boards for the Institute for Contemporary Art in Richmond VA and the Halcyon Social Impact Incubator in Washington D.C., and is a 2012 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
