Lynn Hughes is an artist, digital media researcher and professor emerita at Concordia University, Montreal where she held the Research Chair in Interaction Design and Games Innovation (2004-18). She was instrumental in the founding and financing of several ground-breaking new media research centres including the Hexagram interuniversity Institute for Media Art and Technology (2001), the Technoculture, Art and Games (TAG) Research Centre (2008) and, most recently, the Milieux Institute for Art, Culture and Technology (2015). Her production involves the collaborative conception and design of playful experiences that bring together the digital and the physical. These productions usually include the design of innovative interfaces and focus on shared play.
