The end of the year is full of major events. It starts at the end of October with Halloween, and is followed by Thanksgiving and Christmas. It seems like we just got through it all, but three months of 2020 have already passed in the blink of an eye.
“Aren’t you eating all the time?” people ask me. You’ll get fat living in the US!!! Is that really true? When people think of American food, they of course think of hamburgers, pizza, and sweet cakes loaded with sugar! Pretty much all junk food, right?
In the US, Thanksgiving Day takes place on the fourth Thursday in November. It’s one of the biggest holidays of the year in America, when both schools and businesses are closed. This year was only my second Thanksgiving, but I’ve already come to love it.
Halloween is over and Christmas mode has completely taken over the streets.Although there is also Thanksgiving that is another main event, I want to use this post to share with you all the different types of Christmas tree ornaments in the United States!
Last year I talked about pumpkin spice latte that is all the rage for autumn, but this season has another super popular drink. That beverage is apple cider. When hearing cider, many Japanese people imagine it to be a type of soda, but it is actually not carbonated.
To most people, the top 3 big cities in the US would be of course New York, Los Angeles, as well as Chicago. Traveling by car from Findlay, the city where I live now, I can get to Chicago in about 5 hours. I often use Chicago for airport transfers and I also have friends living there, so I regularly visit in my free time.
When you get older, you start receiving praise less than you did as a child. For me though, the number of compliments I receive increased considerably since moving to the city of Findlay in the United States. Although it may sound like it, I am not bragging.
Here where I live in Findlay there is a place called the Mazza Museum. It is a museum for picture books said to exhibit and possess the most diverse collection of original illustrations from picture book artists all around the world.
